Thanksgiving Turkeys

We will start accepting Thanksgiving orders on Tuesday, November 3rd for BRINED turkeys ONLY at $3.99 / lb.   

We will NOT be accepting orders for fresh non-brined turkeys. Fresh turkeys for walk-in purchase will be available starting
     Saturday, November 21st at $2.99 / lb.

Hirsch’s is now offering Volleman’s Family Farms milk.  High quality whole milk, chocolate and strawberry. Half gallons and quarts in glass returnable bottles.  A $2.00 deposit per bottle is required. 

This milk out of Gustine, Texas drinks like liquid ice cream.

SALMON CROQUETTES

Ingredients
 
12 ounces salmon (cooked and flaked)
1 cup Panko
1 egg (beaten)
2 tablespoons mayo
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons minced red bell pepper        
1-1/2 teaspoons finely chopped
          green onions
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne
1 to 4 tablespoons butter
 
Directions:

 In a large mixing bowl, add all of the croquette ingredients except for the butter.  Stir to combine or mix with your hands.

Shape salmon mixture into eight (8) patties.  Place on a lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.

Add half of the salmon croquettes to the hot skillet. Cook 3-5 minutes until lightly browned. Flip the patties and repeat the same on the other side.  Repeat for the remaining salmon croquettes, adding more butter if necessary.
