Hirsch’s Freezer Pack Option.  
Here’s how it works:
You order your choice of any six (6) different meat items, minimum 3 lbs of each item. These items will be cut, wrapped, and frozen to your specs. All items will be priced at regular counter prices and then discounted 15%.  
These orders must be placed 48 hours in advance. Deli products are excluded from this offer.
 
A Word to the Wise!  With our temperatures increasing, consider bringing a cooler with ice or chill packs to get your purchases home safely.  Especially if you have a long drive home.
Current prices of hanging beef for side or hind quarters is $7.99 / lb

Hinds average 200 lbs plus or minus and sides average 400 lbs plus or minus. These are Texas-raised cattle and grade out choice or higher. Price is inclusive of custom cutting, wrapping, marking, and freezing.

 
MARINATED FLANK STEAK

Ingredients:
ΒΌ cup honey
Β½ cup reduced sodium soy sauce
ΒΌ cup canola oil
ΒΌ cup teriyaki sauce or ΒΌ cup teriyaki marinade
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon gingerroot, minced
1 lb. flank steak



DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients (except the steak) in a large Ziploc bag.

Score steak by making shallow diagonal cuts across steak and add the steak to the bag and seal it.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to 24 hours).  When ready to cook, remove steak from the bag.  You can either grill or broil it for 12 to14 minutes or to desired doneness (140 degrees F for medium doneness).

If you want to serve the marinade as a sauce, bring it to a boil in a small saucepan, reduce heat.  Simmer for 5 minutes.
